Toy Fox Terrier

Toy Fox Terrier History/Evolution:

The Toy Fox Terrier was developed in the early 1900s by American fanciers who crossed small Smooth Fox Terriers with Toy breeds such as Miniature Pinschers and Manchester Terriers. The breed retains the working abilities of the Terrier but has a mild and amusing character that makes these dogs wonderful home companions. Accepted by the AKC in 2001, the Toy Fox Terrier does well on the farm, in the show ring, and in conformation, agility, and obedience trials.
